Scope typically covers field acoustic testing, sound insulation, reverberation assessment, background noise criterion assessment, speech privacy, acoustic troubleshooting, design recommendations and post-installation verification.

When a component has no drawing, is obsolete, or needs to be modified, we turn the physical part into engineering data: dimensional measurement, 3D scanning, scan-to-CAD reconstruction and design work in SolidWorks.
The CAD model is the means, not the point. The objective is a part you can manufacture, a design you can change, and documentation you keep.

Decades of work alongside researchers.
Novico's technical DNA comes from engineering measurement: noise and vibration instrumentation, technical analysis and specialist test systems, much of it delivered with universities, research institutions and government technical projects in Malaysia.
Research work only produces useful data if the measurement chain is right — the environment, the instrumentation, the acquisition setup and the commissioning.
- NOVICO was formed as a joint venture between KSM and Brüel & Kjær.
- KSM acquired full ownership and Novico Engineering subsequently began its next chapter as an independent specialist engineering business.

Yes. Speech privacy problems are usually a combination of partition performance, flanking paths, background noise level and room finishes. We measure the space, identify which factor dominates, and recommend the appropriate mix of construction changes, acoustic treatment or sound masking.

Sound masking is the controlled introduction of an engineered, low-level background sound into a space so that nearby speech becomes less intelligible and less distracting. It does not cancel sound; it raises the background level in a comfortable, tuned way so that conversations are harder to follow at a distance.
