Changing a design is inexpensive while it is still data. Changing it after fabrication is not. Simulation at the design stage lets a change be evaluated, compared and discarded before any material is committed.

We support design modification, optimisation and prototype development. Where a project calls for a specialist analysis discipline beyond that scope, we will say so and confirm the scope with you before committing to it.

How a design engagement runs

  1. Define

    Agree the functional requirement, the constraints and how success will be judged.

  2. Model

    Build or adapt the CAD model so the parameters that matter can actually be varied.

  3. Evaluate

    Compare design options against the requirement and identify the trade-offs.

  4. Release

    Issue drawings and data for fabrication, with prototype support where needed.
